Hear what parents are saying

Love the team at Amaze. I send both my kids to Amaze one for day care and one at after school care. The team are great and are always willing to go the extra mile to support our family. So glad I changed from another daycare to come here.

Amaze has wonderful staff that are amazing at what they do- it takes a special type of person to nurture, educate and care for our kids- these guys are wonderful and go above & beyond! Very thankful we found Amaze Mudgeeraba.

Crestmead state school

Amaze active OSHC has been our Outside School Care for the last 3 years. Since Amaze commenced we have seen a positive change in the culture of OSHC at our school. the Co-ordinator runs a full and vibrant program which engages the students in a wide variety of activities.

We really appreciate that Amaze community-minded nature and Crestmead has benefitted by the Educators volunteering at school discos and sporting events. Over the last few years they have provided water stations for our cross country, oranges on sport days and staff at school event. In recent months they have also been providing worm tea from their worm farm for schools vegetable garden.

Amaze actively helps the school with attendance, by providing trophies for the best improved class. These trophies are presented on the school parade weekly by the Amaze staff.
As the Business Manager, I have worked closely with both Lucy Cook, General Manager and I communicate frequently with the Centre Co-ordinator and the Amaze Active staff. They conduct themselves professionally at all times and respond to any school requests promptly.

Being a family operator, Amaze provides a personalised level of care. Our families have been very happy with the service provided, this has seen an increase of numbers over the years where on average 8% of our families are using the services.

In conclusion, we have been pleased with how Amaze Active has become a part of the Crestmead Community. It is a delight to see busy and active children around our grounds

Mudgeeraba State School

AMAZE Education began operating Amaze Active OSHC at Mudgeeraba State School in October 2011 when they began leasing the school hall providing before and after school care and vacation care.

Lucy Cook, General Manager, has always conducted herself in a very professional manner. Prior to the lease beginning there were many meetings between Lucy, previous Principal Garry Lacey and the previous BSM while we negotiated a suitable outcome for both parties. Lucy was flexible and understanding of the needs of the school while at the same time maintaining the vision of the service she intended to provide.

Since commencement, Amaze has grown from 60 to 90 places. This is testament to the high quality program and way they conduct their service.

As Business Services Manager I communicate frequently with Lucy, her Director Melissa Bergan, and the AMAZE staff. There are often times when the school requires use of the hall during the hours that AMAZE is using it and I have found them to always be extremely accommodating and willing to work with the school. They have their own equipment and always ask permission to use school property, which they treat with respect. Their rent is paid promptly without issue.

AMAZE also join in with school activities whenever it is possible, for example at our recent Spring Fair their staff were busily painting faces, and they volunteer their assistance on open days. Melissa has been working with our school Chaplain to help find a Breakfast Club solution.

In 2015, Amaze initiated the successful application of Sporting Schools. The children then enjoyed Athletics and Multisports through this program.

AMAZE, as a not for profit provider, constantly seeks to be an integral part of the school community. They have helped contribute to the purchase of fans for the school hall, helped with lighting and back stage items for the school musical, and most recently, the purchase of bag racks for the hall. In 2018 Amaze installed water fountains at the Hall and provided free onsite care during the school Trivia Night fundraiser.

In summary, I am very pleased with the way in which AMAZE settled into the school community and the way in which they continue to conduct business. I am very happy to provide this reference and recommend Lucy and her team for any similar opportunities.
